Folkestone Winter Maternity/Pet Portrait Session with Eniko & Ben

Back in December, Eniko got in touch with me telling me of her idea to combine a mini maternity session to formally announce her pregnancy, with some lovely photos of her and her husband Ben, and their two little dogs. I thought it was a great idea, and a few weeks later we got together in the pretty coastal park by the sea in Folkestone (where they also live) for their mini session. I could tell they were a little nervous about being in front of the camera, but after giving them some advice and tips to build their confidence, they soon eased into the experienced and it wasn't long before they were more or less doing it all themselves without having to be prompted!

With the sun shining and a gentle breeze, it was an almost warm January afternoon in Folkestone when I met Eniko, Ben and their two very energetic dogs. The couple said they wanted a good mix of photos of the two of them, and the four of them that they could send to their family and friends. Naturally the couple were easy to pose, but their two dogs proved a bit more of a challenge and were darting back and forth throughout the session!

We did manage to find a few spots where they could chill out though, and what ensued were some really cute 'postcard' photos of the four of them. As Eniko and Ben had opted for a mini portrait session rather than a full length one, we didn't have much time to spare, but I think you'll agree we got some great variety in this little hidden gem of a location - and don't the two of them look amazing - they even matched their outfits!

Hopefully I'll be seeing them again soon as they enjoyed the session so much I might be taking some newborn photographs of the new arrival when he's born!
