I caught up with Mykey from Mykey Day Photography again for this wedding as the groomsmen were getting ready in the cottages just outside the main gates before the ceremony. Matt was cool as a cucumber and had his best friends on hand to entertain him, as well as Chelsea's dad. We had great fun with the boys before the guests started to arrive and events really kicked off.
After the ceremony there was just time for some big group photos outside and a confetti toss before the weather closed in a little bit, and we went back indoors for the remainder of the group photos. Thankfully we managed to sneak the couple out through the day for their own photos, as well as some great night time ones before we left. In a bit of a twist to tradition, both the bride and groom decided to do a 'bouquet toss' after the first dance. But instead of a bouquet, Matt tossed an empty whisky bottle box, while Chealsea tossed an empty champagne bottle box. I'm not sure if that means the recipients of each have to marry each other, but it was certainly entertaining to watch! Planning your own wedding in a castle?
