So the concept was simple enough, grab some props to position around a phone, call someone willing to dress up in fancy clothes in their lounge, and snap away! Thankfully I had a great model in Laura to help me out with this remote photoshoot idea. Having last worked with her about a year ago on a bluebell/woodland photoshoot, It was lovely to chat to her again and catch up, not to mention had a lot of fun with this little project.
With the help of a duvet cover, some fake flowers, a flowery shawl/bolero thing, some pencils and a random cookbook, the flat-lay design was complete! I'm not sure I would win any design awards for it, but it served the purpose to add interest nonetheless.
During the photoshoot, Laura put on two distinct looks while I directed her from my end - though to be honest she's good enough to do this without my help! We spent about 45 minutes going through the motions and I'm really happy with the end result. Hopefully things will return to some sort of normality soon and I won't have to replicate this style again (fingers crossed for never!) but it was fun to try something different.
