Common questions I get asked
Are you insured and do you have any back up equipment?
I have personal liability and professional indemnity insurance and can provide copies of my certificates if this is needed by your venue. Back up equipment is of course very important, where failure can otherwise mean the end of your coverage. I have two professional level camera bodies with the ability to record images to two memory cards simultaneously, as well as multiples of key lenses and flashes for redundancy.
Do we have to feed you at our wedding?
I believe it should be your choice not the photographer’s requirement. The vast majority of venues will provide a single course supplier meal at a fraction of the price of a normal guest meal. If you would like to offer something it’s always greatly appreciated, but I am more than happy to bring a packed lunch otherwise.
How long does it take for you to edit the photos and how many will we receive?
It will depend on my current workload. A typical wedding edit usually takes 3-4 weeks, but can take up to 2 months during busy periods. For 8 hours of coverage or more, you will typically receive between 400-600 final images from your wedding This number will obviously be reduced for shorter coverage and may be more if using a second photographer.
