Kirsty and Darrren have booked their wedding at a vineyard in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex, but they had their hearts set on having their pre-wedding session in nearby Arundel. The small town had real significance to them both, so I couldn't very well say no to their request - particularly as it meant I could explore a new part of the country with them in the process.
The impressive castle and grounds played centre stage during the afternoon, and we were blessed with some lovely sunshine too (though it was a bit windy at times, but we made do). We were certainly not short on incredibly beautiful locations to utilise: from shady benches to tree-lined paths and glasshouses. The love between the two of them was pretty evident, and it made for some really lovely and emotive photos.
After we had explored the castle, we headed back out and along a towpath beside the river for some great final images with the castle in the background, as well as amongst the vibrant and sun-lit reeds on the riverbank. It was lovely to spend some quality time with these two ahead of their wedding later in the summer, and I've no doubt that day will be even better!
