Despite being a relatively new company (as of the time of writing), Locate to Create have really come on in leaps and bounds in both the level of service they provide, as well as the ever-growing inventory of props, accessories, décor and much more besides that they have at their disposal. There is a definite element of vintage and rustic items, but they also have an array of boho and chic furnishings and decorations too. They are really on board with what’s trendy at the moment, and can cater to any size of event or wedding when they have all their team on hand to bring your vision to life.
Having worked with Holly and her team a few times last year, both as part of a collaboration for a styled bridal shoot which had more of a boho/festival vibe, and on a commercial and branding project I did with them during a day at Mount Ephraim Gardens in Kent, I can honestly say I have been blown away by the versatility of their ideas and the professionalism and attention to detail they all bring to the table.
Their seating areas and arrangements make great statement pieces, and can be made up of any number of furnishings and items – sofas, chairs, stacks of vintage trunks and storage units, tables and decorations. They really do look great and are ideal if you are dressing a venue that is quite empty and bare on its own, or that doesn’t come with furnishings included. This is where Locate to Create really shine, as they can bring your vision to life and create a truly incredible atmosphere and space for you and your guests to enjoy.
Of course they don’t just do prop hire and larger styling, they also put their hand to table décor and finer detailing too. As part of the branding project we worked on together, they displayed a table set up that would be perfect for any wedding reception layout. Combining clean wooden elements with metallic, glass and flowers, they created really understated yet elegant designs that would perfectly suit weddings in warmer weather, indoors or outside.
If your wedding dream involves something a little rustic, a little vintage, or very boho and colourful, you would do well to consider Holly and her team at Locate to Create, and I foresee their little company growing in the future and gaining even more popularity in the wedding industry especially – and I look forward to working with them again soon!
Below are some sample images of the Locate to Create team, as well as some of their props and furnishings, both in their more rustic look and their colourful boho style too.
As well as a vast selection of vintage and rustic props, furnishings and accessories, Locate to Create also provide a full styling service which includes some elegant table layouts and set ups for dining and wedding receptions. They have a simplistic style which is nonetheless beautiful and colourful.
Their seating areas and arrangements can be customised in any number of ways and further complimented by details and flowers to reflect the style, colours and theme of your wedding or event. They are perfect for placing in empty areas of a venue or as part of a greater set up to dress a venue that does not come with furnishings as standard, like a barn.
If you were looking for more of a boho or festival vibe for your wedding or event, then Locate to Create can help with that too! Holly and her team can easily inject some colour and vibrancy into any outdoor or indoor space, and their collection of rugs, seats and beanbags, as well as table accessories will surely be appreciated by your guests as the sun sets on a warm summer's day in the countryside (or city!)
